Malabar Riding School

Malabar, is the gateway to another Sports Coast surprise and delight. The riding school is located on Franklin St. Malabar, on the ocean side of Anzac Parade near the rifle range. It operates 7 days a week from 9.30 am offering a variety of options for horse lovers.

Apart from leisurely scenic trail rides, up to cantering, along the beautiful coast the school caters for children including family birthday parties. School holiday camps are held for beginners and those more confident. A great fun time is assured.

For the more serious riders there are lessons in

• dressage
• racing skills

These activities can be taken with a group or as private coaching sessions.

The school has activities catering to the disabled and such children respond handsomely to interaction with horses. Also there is a history of jockeys being taught their basic skills at this location.

The school caters to fetes and festivals with the leasing of ponies and their handlers. This is inevitably a winner for the organizers of such events.
